Floor Robots With the Lowest Cost per Warranty Year
Price divided by warranty years is a blunt number, and it is presented as a floor rather than an estimate: a robot can outlast its warranty by years or fail the month after it ends, and warranties differ in what they cover. What it does show is how much of a robot's price its maker is prepared to stand behind. A $500 robot with a two-year warranty and a $1,500 robot with a one-year warranty are not in the same place, however their feature lists compare.
